The Magnolias are the stars of the show this Easter

Magnolia Vulcan has an intense colour and is one of the darkest red Magnolias. Its large, cup-shaped blooms, produced before the leaves appear, are breathtaking.

Everything is opening together after a long cold spell. Magnolia colours this year are intense due to last year’s hot weather.

Today was a wet day at Cherry Tree Arboretum, but Magnolia Aurora stole the show. It must be the plant of the month.
