Wonderful Autumn Colour
Stunning July views
The grassed areas will be cut next month. Until then the long grass and meadows in the arboretum provide places for hares to hide in and hunting grounds for bees, birds and butterflies. These stunning photographs were taken on 5th July 2025.

Judas tree in April
Cercis siliquastrum ‘Bodnant’ is a small ornamental tree which is also known as the Judas tree, European redbud or love tree. This variety has been awarded the RHS Award for Garden Merit (AGM).

The trees at Cherry Tree Arboretum were growing well at the start of June and looked splendid in the sunshine.
Azaleas on display
On May 11th the Cherry Tree Arboretum had an open day as part of the National Garden Scheme to raise funds for Macmillan Nurses. It was a beautiful sunny day and the azaleas (and rhododendrons) were in full bloom in the sunshine.

Cherry Tree Arboretum had an open day on Saturday April 6th as part of the National Garden Scheme to raise funds for Macmillan Nurses. The magnolia trees were in bloom and made the open day an unforgettable experience.
