Our first open day of the year was a great success. The Met Office had issued an amber wind warning for parts of Wales, northern England and Scotland due to Storm Dave, but conditions at Cherry Tree Arboretum were good and allowed visitors to enjoy walking around to see a fine range of magnolia and cherry trees in bloom.
